a bit about me

I am like a sponge. I like to soak up knowledge about art from past to present. I like to look at underground art work. I think I’m very prolific. I paint constantly, whenever I can. I want to be on a fine art painting course so that I have the freedom to work independently and on a large scale. I want to challenge myself but also to be challenged by others. I think competition is healthy and it will help me produce better work.


Who am I?
Passionate, slightly arrogant, confident in my ability but willing to learn, willing to take constructive criticism, very rebellious

I think a lot of contemporary painting has become too minimalist. It needs an injection of life and character. I want people to get lost in my pictures.

Being at college has allowed me to develop my own style. Before, I had ideas but could never translate them into anything visual. I’ve become more contextually aware and started to appreciate other artists and other work. My perspective on everything has changed. Art seems to have given my life more meaning. I have finally found something that I have a passion for.
